Celebrity Waiter Night 2008 The 23rd Annual Celebrity Waiter Night will be held on May 19 at Touchdown Terrace on the UF campus. Shands departments join together and serve as "celebrity" waiters all to raise money for Shands Children's Hospital at the University of Florida.
South Florida Corporate Day The annual recognition luncheon will be held at City Place Marriott. This event is an opportunity to honor Children's Miracle Network sponsors in the south Florida area.
Publix Miracle Balloon Campaign Starting May 31, visit your local Publix supermarket to purchase your Children's Miracle Network coupon balloon. Donate $1, $3 or $5 and receive valuable coupons as you support Shands Children's Hospital. The campaign runs through June 20, 2008.

Dance Marathon at UF Breaks Record Raising More Than $427,000
On April 5-6, more than 600 students supported Shands Children’s Hospital through Dance Marathon at UF. A marathon is defined as “any contest, event, or the like, of great, or greater than normal, length or duration or requiring exceptional endurance.” This was the inspiration for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida.
The fifth annual Spring Trail Ride held on April 12 raised $9,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida. The Altoona Trail Riders led the 10-mile scenic ride through the rolling hills of Marion County.
