Shands for Kids Stories

My two-year-old was diagnosed with a rare skin and muscle disease. Coming to Shands at first was very scary, but Shands made it easier to cope with everything. Thanks to Shands my little girl went from a very weak child to a child with so much energy. Before we came my daughter was tripping a lot and could not get on and off the couch by herself. Now she is running every where. Thank you so much. There is no cure for the disease, just meds to make her life easier but with the help of Shands she can now have an almost normal life.
